Victor Pasmore was a world renown British artist and architect. Victor Pasmore was born in Chelsham, Surrey, England in the year 1908.
The artist was called to duty and drafted for World War 2. He did not go and wound up serving 123 days in jail for not obeying orders. Eventually the artist went to a tribunal and was granted an exemption from going to war. Pasmore was called a conscientious objector, a person who would was against war.
The artist attended London’s Central School of Art.
Pasmore was a teaching professor at the Camberwell School of Art.
The artist was part of the Venice Biennial.
