Jamie Bennett is an artist renown for his jewelry made with enamel. Jamie Bennett was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the year 1948.
Jamie Bennett began college as a business major first at New York University and then at the University of Athens, Georgia. Bennett then studied metalsmithing at the State University of New York at New Paltz. The artist earned two bachelors degrees. One in business and the other in art. He went on to graduate school where he started to really enjoy working with enamel.
After college Bennett became a professor at his alma mater, where he taught at the institution of learning for thirty years.
The artist has shown his work at leading museums around the globe including the Met in New York City.
