I have been having fun comparing the design styles of this father and son duo. Both artists focus on using the square shape. The son’s idea to use geometric shapes to depict the face reminds me of Chuck Close. His portrait works also remind me of some of the works of kinetic Op Artist Carlos Cruz Diez.
What a great family of artists! Would have loved to visit either of their studios!
