Margo Hoff was a world renown painter and printmaker. Margo Hoff was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the year 1910. Hoff worked with many mediums including oils, collage, acrylics, gouache, ink, and ceramics.
Hoff attended the University of Oklahoma at Tulsa for two years. She then transferred to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
As a painter of the face and figure in a narrative manner, Hoff was influenced by the Mexican muralist paintings.
