Zachari Logan has built an international reputation of making surrealist drawings of human heads, hands, and the figure alongside flowers, plants, and animals. Zachari Logan was born in the year 1980.
Logan attended the University of Saskatchewan where he earned a B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees.
For many of his works the artist uses blue colored pencil on mylar or vellum.
In this clip the artist talks about using his own body in his work:
Logan has created some extremely large drawings as large as 20 feet on one side.
Zachari Logan is a master draftsman who reminds me of the artist Andy Wyeth. If you look closely at Wyeth the viewer realizes the artist tried to portray as many different textures as he could in his paintings and drawings.
Logan enjoys using many different textures in his work as well including animal hair, human skin, flowers, clothing, and the human body.

My favorite works by this artist are those that combine part of the human body with a plant or a tree.
