Noreen Simplicio is a Native American artist renown for her incredible pots which usually feature lizards. Noreen Simplicio represents the Zuni Pueblo.
Simplicio began producing pots in 1977 whilst in high school under the tutelage of James Laate. Later she would study with Angelina Modina.

My favorite works of hers are the ones that include ladders and characters. My favorite artist of the vessel is the great Al Qoyawayma. This artist creates not only a wonderful vessel, but references the Native American architectural styles of yesteryear. Below a link to my article on this artist:
