Juan Fuentes is a contemporary American social realist printmaker. Juan Fuentes was born in Artesia, New Mexico in the year 1950. Fuentes works with a goal of using art to inspire social change.

Fuentes earned a B.F.A. in painting and drawing from from San Francisco State University.

One artist that inspired Fuentes was Rupert Garcia.
