Jane Osti is a contemporary Native American potter renown for creating unique vessels and masks with embellishments. Jane Osti was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Osti earned a B.A. from Northeastern State University located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She went on to earn a master’s degree in science and higher education.

Osti was married and raising a family by the time she began college at the age of 33 years old.

In much of her work the artist refers to landscapes and animals.
