Jason Borders is a contemporary artist who creates carvings on the bones of animals. Boders uses a dremel to make his intricate carvings.
Borders was born in Lexington, Kentucky.
When the artist was fifteen years of age he got a job with a local art gallery. This exposure to so many different styles of art was key to Borders’ desire to become a professional artist himself.

What a great style of contemporary art. His work reminds me of the Inuit and their carvings on whalebone.
