Dan McBride is a contemporary abstract painter. Dan McBride was born in Safford, Arizona in the year 1952.

McBride attended Arizona State University where he studied with a key influence and mentor named Fritz Scholder. McBride went on to study overseas in Paris, France at the National School of Fine Arts.

McBride realized he wanted to be a professional artist by selling a work when he was six years old for one hundred dollars.

In this clip we make a visit to the studio of Dan McBride:

The artist is now based out of Sante Fe, New Mexico.
