Stephen Wiltshire is a contemporary British artist renown for his work with architecture and the landscape. Stephen Wiltshire was born in London, England in the year 1974.
In 2006 the artist was made a (M.B.E.) Member of the British Empire.
The artist didn’t speak much until he was nine years of age.
Wiltshire is renown for creating large panoramic drawings from memory after taking a helicopter ride over the city. He has done this in many cities around the world including Sydney, Australia and Shanghai, China. In this clip we view his work after a ride over New York City:

Wiltshire was diagnosed with autism when he was three years of age. His father was killed in a motorcycle accident the same year.

What a great story of personal accomplishment in the face of adversity. Interesting that the last two artists featured here both had autism, but both were very gifted as visual artists.
