Ingrid Calame is an American abstract painter. Ingrid Calame was born in the Bronx, New York in the year 1965. Her work is loosely is based on cartography, the art of making maps.

Calame earned a B.F.A. from the State University of New York at Purchase. The artist went on to post graduate studies earning a M.F.A. from the California Institue for the Arts at Valencia.
