Willy Rizzo was an Italian furniture designer and photographer. Willy Rizzo was born in Naples, Italy in the year 1928.
Rizzo began to take pictures when he was twelve after receicving a camera from his mother.
After the second world war the artist went to Tunisia to document the violence in North Africa. thits exposure brought him the chance to go to Cannes and become involved with Cannes Film festival. Shooting celebrities would become a great niche for the photographer when he decided to try his hand at furniture design. The celebs eagerly waited to buy his modernist furniture.

Rizzo worked for the magazine Paris Match for two decades starting in 1948.
The artist began his own furniture design firm in 1968. The firm had a staff of 150 people.
