Raimonds Staprans is a contemporary painter and playwright. Raimond Staprans was born in Riga, Latvia in the year 1926.
The artist first earned a B.A. from the School of Art located in Esslingen, Germany. After emigrating to the United States Staprans attended the University of Washington also earning a B.A. The artist went on to earn a M.A. at the University of California at Berkeley.
