Jiro Takamatsu was a highly influential visual artist. Jiro Takamatsu was born in Tokyo, Japan in the year 1936. Takamatsu is renown for his shadow paintings.
Takamatsu attended the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music where he studied drawing and painting.
The artist was at his peak during the 1960’s and 1970’s.

Jiro Takamatsu passed away in 1998. He was 62 years of age.
