E.J. Hauser is a contemporary abstract painter. Hauser also creates digital imagery. The artist sometimes uses text in her work.
The artist works with many mediums including crayons, oil sticks, markers, charcoal, ink, and pastels.
Hauser earned a B.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia. The artist went on to earn a M.F.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Hauser is now based out of Brooklyn, New York where she has lived since 1998.

E.J. Hauser is one of the best contemporary painters on the horizon. She shows a great use of color and abstract design in her work. Her use of color is accented by her fantastic use of black in her art.
