James Wolanin is a contemporary painter renown for his work with the female figure. James Wolanin was born in Sayreville, New Jersey in the year 1965.
Wolanin attended the School of Visual Arts located in New York City. He went on to earn a degree from the DuCret School of Art located in Plainfield, New Jersey.
The artist finds inspiratation through the older Pop artists including Andy Warhol and James Rosenquist.

James Wolanin has a great eye for design. The artist always looks to create interesting visual patterns using clothes. The artist also does an outstanding job of painting water. I find his style of painting water to be similar to the British master David Hockney.
