Price range information: Sorry none available.

Most works are compiled using a combination of acrylics, tempera, cardboard, staples, glue, and screws.

The work of Guy Goodwin is a hard to describe. Its seems to take some design ideas from 1960’s and 1970’s master Verner Panton. Goodwin’s works always contain a great deal of movement blended with many interesting organic shapes.

The artist often paints with oils on linen. She paints with the piece lying flat, rather than on an easel to avoid dripping paint.

Andrea Belag has a wonderful sense of composition. Her style reminds me of painters James Nares and Roy Lichtenstein. These artists all placed a great deal of emphasis on the brushstroke.

To produce the art necessary to make the film used 125 specially trained individual artists to make the paintings used in the film.

Below a behind the scenes look at the creation of the movie:

The movie took more than six years to produce. The movie features 12 paintings per second.

In this clip a trailer for the movie Loving Vincent:

The movie focuses on last days of Vincent Van Gogh and brings to mind the question if the artist did indeed take his own life.

I am going to see the movie on the upcoming Wednesday and I can’t wait!
