Brian Alfred’s style is a fantastic example of modernist landscape painting. The artist does a great job of taking the many boring and straight lines found in the urban landscape, giving them some color, and creating an interesting visual pattern for the viewer.
Alfred’s work reminds of the landscapes of British painter Julian Opie.
