Farhad Moshiri was born in Shiraz, Iran in the year 1963. Moshiri earned a B.F.A. and an M.F.A. from the California Institute of the Arts located in Valencia.
The artist’s work combines items from traditional Iranian culture, archaeology, and contemporary commercial logos and iconography found in the western world.
