Raqib Shaw’s work is very unique. Great design skill and use of color gives his work has a strong Persian feeling. The use of enamel paint and jewels makes his paintings seem very decorative.
Shaw’s art also reminds me of the the master Hieronymus Bosh. Both artists show a great sense of design and include a great deal of visual information and detail in their work.
