Kano Tsumenobu was an excellent draftsman. The artist was great at working with the figure and landscape. One must also keep in mind the hanging scrolls found in this period of time were created with ink on silk. Like many Eastern artists Tsumenobu did a fantastic job of representing the feeling of the landscape rather than capturing every small detail.
