Andy Denzler is a multi media artist from Switzerland. Andy Denzler was born in Zurich, Switzerland in the year 1965. Denzler is renown for his works that are referred to as freeze frames of everyday life.
His style in these works is to use black and white with very blurry lines. These works can remind the viewer of Warhol’s first black and white movies that focused on the beauty of ordindary things from the Empire State building to someone eating a mushroom.
Denzler has studied at many of the finest institutions of world. He began at the Kunstgewerbeschule located in Zurich. Denzler also studied at the F&F Schule fur Gestaltung also located in Zurich.
Denzler then studied in the United States at the University of California at Los Angeles, and the Art Center College of Design located in Pasadena, California. The artist went on to earn an M.F.A. from the Chelsea College of Art and Design located in London, England.

What a great artist! With such an extensive collegiate education its easy to see that this artist is always looking to grow and experiment with a new medium. His freeze frame series does a great job at making the viewer realize the artistic quality of everyday activities in life.
