Khaled Zaki is a contemporary sculptor from Egypt. Khaled Zaki was born in Suez, Egypt in the year 1964.
Zaki had planned to become a business professional before finding his love of sculpture. Zaki is a highly educated artist earning a bachelor degree in management and a master degree in restoration from Cairo University.
For his artistic schooling Zaki studied Al Khonany Museum of Art in Giza. He went on master his craft through studies in Italy.

Khaled Zaki does a great job at breaking down the human figure to modernist shapes. Whats most interesting about his sculpture work are the cast shadows of his sculptures. Very interesting abstract shapes that add another modernist touch to his art.
