Recently in August of 2018 Hassani was invited to a street artist festival in Sacramento, California. This clip shows the mural she painted for it:
In 2016 Hassani was named artist in residence at the Hammer Museum located in Los Angeles, California.
I find Hassani’s work to be very narrative with a great sense of color and design. The artist also does a great job at portraying women from her country and how they are forced to leave their homes and live as unwelcome refugees in a foreign country.
Her work is very inspirational with excellent design and color.
