Manuel Pailos was a Modernist painter, sculptor, and ceramist. Manuel Pailos was born in Galicia, Spain in the year 1918. As a child he moved with his parents to Uruguay in 1920. The family settled in Montevideo.
Pailos attended the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Montevideo.
The artist worked in many mediums including pastels, oils, gouache, watercolors, and acrylics. He created a few prints. Prices range from $2,000 to $100,000.
