Abelardo Morell is a contemporary photographer renown for his use of older cameras including the camera obsura. Abelardo Morell was born in Havana, Cuba in the year 1948.
Morell attended the Bowdoin School of Art located in Brunswick, Maine where he earned a B.A. degree. The artist went on to earn a M.F.A. from the Yale University School of Art.
