Laura Ball brings to mind the art of painter Bev Doolittle. Doolittle is renown for painting the Cowboy and Native American scenes with hidden imagery in the background. Ball’s approach also involves hiding images, but with blank backgrounds the viewer is able to concentrate on the image as a whole, and then the hidden images in details. Ball’s work is a never ending mystery for the eyes.
